These are the cars that have graced my life! I just bought the last one today! It is a 2006 Dodge Stratus - the coller is light silver fern. Why do they name them such dumb names?
Anyway, it was a stressful day, but I'm excited!
Now I get to drive my new car to work tomorrow in 12 inches of snow that we're supposed to get tonight! The first hard snow is going to be a big one!!

FOR REAL - My pledge

Ok, this is really serious. Starting tomorrow - effective 12:01 am, November 25th, 2006 - my FOR REAL diet starts. I wanted to put it in here so that people would hold me accountable. I want to lose 25 pounds by the end of January. This is probably unrealistic, but I'm aiming high. Don't worry - I won't be unhealthy about it. Just lots of working out and WAY MORE eating right.

So there it is. I'm not going to be fat anymore.

Um.......wha???

New project

So this picture totally doesn't do this really cool pattern or this fun yarn any justice - but I started a new project about 1.5 hours ago, and I wanted to share it. I'll take a picture with my camera when I find it (I used my phone for this one).
The finished project looks like it was super complicated to do, but this pattern isn't that bad. It's easy to keep track of where you are, but it makes you pick up stitches like mad! Also, I don't like increasing in a purl stitch. Too much thinking ;-)
So anyway, I wanted to share.

ALMOST done with sleeve #2. Going to finish it this morning before I go to work, and then sew it on tomorrow if I don't have time today. I'm almost done with that stupid sweater!!!

I have exciting news - but no pictures.

My black sweater is ALMOST DONE! I have one sleeve sewn on, and the other one is on the kneedles....

New phone for now :-(

So I'm doing a 'friendly user trial' of a new phone. And it's no where near as cool as my old phone. This phone has no camera, no internet capabilities - it's a pre-paid phone. Ugg...AND it looks like it was designed in 1973. I guess it is only for a couple of weeks...but still. Give me a break!

For realsies

So tonight, I am going to FOR REAL finish that black sweater. I am also going to start my next project (in this picture). I bought some mohair-ish yarn that I am going to use to alter this pattern into my own. I'm exited to get it going, but won't let myself start until the black one is done.
